Guess whos back?

Decided to make a progressive breaks mix whilst I was moving house, did two mixes on my laptop with lots of added production/acapella mixes/re edits/mash ups/tricks/etc.

There is a little distortion in “The Remote – Like You” sounds like im cutting the line switch but im not . . . . ive worked out what the problem is but I’m on a slow connection at the moment here, so will not be able to re upload with the proper mix until ive got a bit of time.

its final, its no more, the weekly updated 5 star itunes featured podcast, one of the fastest growing electronic dance music podcasts in the world today must come to an end. . . . .

We have had some amazing feedback and support from artists, labels, DJs, promoters and club connoisseurs from across the globe it saddens me to announce the Cøntrølled Cønfusiøn podcast will not be updated again anytime soon after this episode.

Its been a bit of a journey, being a featured podcast on itunes for 2 weeks over Christmas 06 was what really kicked it off I recon, and in the last month as an example we have had over 22,000 downloads from all 4 corners of the globe, the podcast was originally set up to be a bit hidden, a bit underground and something you couldn’t find easily (this is why I used the special “ ø “ letters, to make it difficult to find when you search) but ultimately its not secret, far from it to be honest, it’s a full 5 star rated itunes podcast that’s known across the globe, even to the point I’m told we’ve been pirated on the peer to peer networks and torrents . . . . . . . which I actually like the idea of for some kinky unknown reason.

Anyways, the mixes will stay up forever, there will just not be anymore updates anytime soon, it might become a bi monthly 2 hour mix but nothing more as I don’t have the time to keep it fully updated.

I can no longer commit my time and guarantee a new mix everyweek as I have been doing for the past 7 months, I cant see I’ll be able to get time to do another for at least another couple of months at least due to moving house, setting up another business etc, ill still keep buying tracks, ill still be here for bookings etc and all the labels sending me tracks, if you cut me from your mailing lists ill be round to give you a wedgie.

Live act, based on analogical instruments like Korg -MS-Series, Moog´s, AKS-Synth, GTK, and various Roland Synthesizers, playing solid Techno, Minimal, Electro and House.

Established 2006 in Berlin, known as a high-skilled and respected live act. The artists are:

MARC SCHUETT
grew up in Konstanz. He started at an early age to get himself more and more in touch with electronical instruments. After spending years and spinning techno as a young Dj, at private and underground parties in the beautiful but small city, it was time for him to find a new direction in life. He decided to move to the capital of electronic music, Berlin. He rocked his crowd with a individual mix style at various techno clubs like WMF, POLAR TV, KIT KAT, GOODLIFE and STERN RADIO. 2006, together with Eddie da Silva he founded in Berlin the live act SCHRAUB LORENZ .

EDDIE DA SILVA
comes from Hamburg. His Dj. career began 1985 spinning popular club music. Later he began to play Acid and House at some of the first real house-clubs in Hamburg, like FRONT, OPERA HOUSE, FUNKY PUSSY and later BETTY FORD KLINIK. After years in Amsterdam and Tampa he moved to Berlin and became resident at CASINO and the legendary DEEP. Together with JOALZ he released 2006 the cult track DON´T CLOSE YOUR EYES. His Label CROSSTOWN REBELS wrote:

Eddie da Silva has been preaching the techno gospel for 15 years now, with career that´s seen him travel the world and with past residence in Hamburg, Amsterdam and Berlin, it´s safe to say, he knows what works on the dancefloor....
